The neighbourhood of Tempe is part of the city of City of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


Physically active people will welcome the reasonably walk-friendly character of this part of the city; running common errands is easy. On the other hand, this area is not very bicycling-friendly since there is a significant amount of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes. The best approach to get around in this part of the city is usually driving. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to access from anywhere in Tempe. In contrast, getting around by public transit is sometimes difficult in this part of the city. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby.


It is often feasible for house buyers in Tempe to buy general and specialty groceries on foot. Moreover, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of choices. Regarding education, daycares and schools are very easy to get to on foot from any location in this neighbourhood.
