In my small town the property I was selling was among the higher price homes and that made the sale more difficult in a downturn market. Simon and his team did an excellent presentation of the property to obtain for me a fair and reasonable price. There was a few glitches in the process as is normal but they were handled in a professional manner resulting in a satisfactory conclusion of the sale.This reaffirmed my decision to contract Simon and his firm as the best people for the transaction.

We have sold two properties and purchased three properties with Simon D Hunt, what we found was it did not matter on the value of our property we were given outstanding, amazing, professional service from Simon and all his team. The service we received selling our $300k condo was as outstanding as when we sold our $600k single family home.

I have been attempting to sell me property for over a year with another agent. I finally decided to contact Simon when I was having no success selling. He did a through review of the existing listing and found multiple errors that were impacting the sale of my property. Then his process is different from anything I have experienced with other realtors I have used. He brought in a stager who provided recommendations that would help sell the property, had the house measured and a floor plan drawn up, since my home was vacant he virtually staged the rooms to give buyers a view of what the property could look like with furniture. The team is Simon's office was also great. We listed the property and had an offer day 1.

During the buying process his understanding of both the market and the values of home features (ie property size, build dates, renos, location) make you feel comfortable in knowing you are paying fair market value or in our case better.
Also in the buying process he is not pushy in anyway. We dragged him to over 40 homes in 3 months and even during the latter stages he was telling us which properties to avoid based on structural issues and market value (even though we really liked them).
The house we did end up purchasing we did not even see in person. We had to send Simon in to look as we were on vacation. He knew exactly what we were looking for. We couldnt be happier. Again he is on point during negotiations and saved us big money!

Have often thought that going through a realtor is expensive and not worth it, and I have bought and sold a few houses in my lifetime, but this was definitely the most professional experience that I have had with a realtor. When we put the house on the market, I thought we would be taking a loss, and when told what house could be sold for, I did not imagine it would sell for more than what we paid for and be a break even proposition after real estate fees were paid for. You would be remiss in not seeking out his expertise and care when it comes to one of the biggest purchases/sales you'll ever have!!

We struck a deal on a home for my son and daughter-in-law, with Simon as our realtor. When we were in the inspection stage, the owner of the house kicked out the inspector and said he decided not to sell and said he would not reimburse our inspection fee. ($500). After looking at quite a few houses, we new this was the house we wanted. Simon suggested we not walk away and fight for the house. The owner continued to drag out the process hoping we would walk away.(We found out that he had done this with 2 other buyers) With a baby on the way, we were not going to find another house in time. The owner of the house said he was hiring a lawyer hoping to scare us off. Because Simon knew what he was doing and had the contract signed to be ironclad, we new we could not lose. With his advice, we proceeded to hire a litigation lawyer if needed. With the time that had passed, an equivalent house would have cost us another $20,000, plus all the labor Simon has put into this. We went back to the owner with an option of paying us $50,000 for having to pay more for another house plus all real estate fees to walk away, or sell the home.
After the owner consulted with his real estate lawyer, he decided to sell the house without any more interruptions or delays.
I have bought and sold a few houses in my years and have had different realtors. I can honestly say that if we would not have had Simon in our corner, we would probably have been told to cut our loses and move on.

Rarely have I ever given a perfect rating on any review. I tried to find a category where I could critique less than a perfect "5" rating, though was honestly unable to do so. As selling my home became a necessity due to personal circumstances, there was a lot of emotion involved in the process. Simon was incredibly compassionate of these circumstances, enabling me to proceed at my own readiness during every point of the sales process. Once I recognized this compassion, I knew I was in safe hands.

Simon had a stager come in to help me prepare my home for the ultimate sales condition possible. This was significantly helpful for me. The stager was sensitive in her approach of what she felt would improve the presentation of the property. She then provided an 8 page itemized list of the detail we had gone through together. Once ready, Simon had a professional photographer come in who did beautiful work in photographing the property. At many points throughout this process, Simon checked in to see how I was doing, a concern I believe most agents would not engage in.

Once showings began, Simon's incredibly kind and competent staff were on top of every detail and notified me immediately of any showing requests. Simon, was not involved with our new home as we were building. He did how ever help us sell two of our properties after letting go a previous realtor.
